Sterling Cooke Force
I had this album up before. But, in the original post, the sound could only be heard on the right side. This version should sound a lot better. Anyway, here's the mini bio that I found online, which was included in my original post.
The Sterling Cooke Force was led by guitarist Sterling Cooke. The band notably issued the album "Full Force" through British label Ebony Records, being produced by label boss Darryl Johnston. Previous to this the group had recorded a 1982 single, "Don't Need You Anymore", backed by a B-side cover version of The Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows." Post "Full Force" the band put out a further 7" release, "Down On Love' / 'Hit And Run" in 1985. The Sterling Cooke Force returned in 1986 with the "Force This" album on Ransom Records. A third set, "Taken By Force", was recorded in 1987 but never released.
NOTE: The "Full Force" album is also included in the download.
